  4. Prepare 1/4 of small yellow onion, sliced thinly.
  5. You need 1 of medium carrot, peeled and grated.
  6. You need 1/2 head of small cabbage, sliced thinly.

  1. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter using medium-high heat.
  2. When the butter begins to bubble, add the sausage slices and stir to coat the sausage with the butter.
  3. Sauté the sausage, stirring frequently, until you begin to see it start to brown, then toss in the onions.
  4. Keep sautéing until the onions soften, then toss in the carrots.
  5. As the carrots cook, they will give off liquid ~~exactly what you want!~~ stir occasionally for three minutes, then toss in the tomatoes, stir the mixture and let the tomatoes cook for 2 minutes.
  6. Now pour in the chicken broth, stir everything, and increase the heat a little until it begins to bubble.
